NVIDIA announces it will stop support for 32-bit operating systems.

As such, NVIDIA will not release any drivers for graphics cards that are still running on 32-bit operating systems in the near future. According to PC GAMER, NVIDIA will stop distributing 32-bit drivers after the release of the 390 version drivers.

The new version driver will no longer support 32-bit operating systems. All optimizations for drivers released in version 390 and above will not be presented to users of 32-bit operating systems, "NVIDIA wrote in its official announcement.

However, NVIDIA will still release security fixes for its drivers until 2019.

The decision to abandon users of 32-bit operating systems is right for NVIDIA right now. The operating system has been largely abandoned especially among gamers who are one of NVIDIA's biggest markets.

In addition, modern games today also require gamers to use 64-bit operating systems because of the limitation of the amount of RAM capacity that can be used.
